...IT'S CALLED FAITH RAISING
When you think about it, as soon as we jumped into this venture, our FAITH was being pushed and developed in totally new ways. It's one thing to say "YES" to Jesus and follow his call, "Come, follow me", but what happened next to those disciples? Their FAITH and TRUST in this man was deepened and developed in a powerful way.
We recognize this, and after saying "YES" to Jesus' call on our lives to serve Him overseas, we also recognized that EVERY step from here forward would be FAITH RAISING. The neat part is that it's not just OUR faith that's increasing, but also that of everyone who joins our TEAM. We recognize that all we give to the Lord is rightly HIS to begin with.
Therefore, we recognize that any form of "support" from our team... be it prayer, time or treasure is a sacrifice ultimately to the Lord. Our prayer is that through your support, both of us will have our faith deepened. We will weep, grow, and celebrate with each of you as the Lord shapes each of us in this venture of GIVING!
